FlyUs opens Puerto Rico office and wins new Air Canada contract

FlyUs Aviation Group has established a new office in Puerto Rico and secured a contract to represent Air Canada cargo operations, supporting three weekly freighter flights between Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport (SJU) and Toronto Pearson (YYZ). The expansion enhances air cargo capacity for Puerto Rico's bioscience manufacturing sector, providing critical logistics support for local industry.

GSSA FlyUs Aviation Group has opened a new office in Puerto Rico's San Juan following the start of a new contract with Air Canada Cargo.

Under the contract, FlyUs will provide agency services for the Canadian airline's three-times-per-week freighter service between Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport (SJU) and its Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ) hub.

The new office strengthens air cargo capacity for Puerto Rico's bioscience manufacturing sector, with a focus on pharmaceutical exports. FlyUs brings extensive experience handling temperature-controlled cargo, particularly pharmaceuticals, perishables, and flowers, positioning its team to support Air Canada and its customers with these sensitive shipments.

"FlyUs has proven to be a trusted partner through the strong results they have achieved as Air Canada's GSA in multiple markets," said Matthieu Casey, managing director, commercial – cargo, Air Canada.
