Kimberly Furumo

Founder & President

Born and raised around Puerto Rico aviation, Kimberly Furumo grew up in San Juan’s flight community, following in the footsteps of her mother, an American Eagle Executive flight attendant. She spent her early career as a corporate flight attendant before transitioning into real estate development as a key driver behind Tigerback Lodge, an Opportunity Fund project. A natural community organizer, she also founded and ran a Puerto Rico farmers market for two years, successfully connecting local agricultural vendors with high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth consumers. Married to Captain Jesse Furumo—a decorated local helicopter pilot with over 17 years in Puerto Rico—she remains deeply invested in the island’s airspace. In 2025, she founded the Puerto Rico Business Aviation Association (PRBAA) to unify the regional industry, direct Act 60 donations toward strategic aviation initiatives, and open doors for future local aviators. She leads PRBAA with a clear message: aviation in Puerto Rico is growing, in demand, and accessible to the next generation.
